Rayan Cherki to extend his Lyon contract until 2023

L’Équipe report this evening that 16-year-old Lyon attacker Rayan Cherki has decided to sign a contract extension with the club.

The new deal will run for a further year, until June 2023 – he signed professionally for OL last summer, despite interest from Manchester United and Real Madrid, making 12 appearances in all competitions for Les Gones over the course of the truncated 2019/20 campaign.
