“Let’s say I could be better. For the past week, I have felt severe burns while breathing and I am easily breathless. I could not be tested because the hospitals are overrun, in London as in many places, and are reserved for critical cases, which is completely normal. That said, the doctors with whom I have been able to speak to in London and France have no doubts that I have clear and fairly marked symptoms of the coronavirus. It is painful. But also highly anxiety-provoking, because the simple act of speaking or climbing ten steps causes shortness of breath. You have to stay calm, rest, and wait, hoping that your condition won’t deteriorate any more. Obviously, I am putting all my energy into getting better as quickly as possible, keeping my fingers crossed. It is a trying experience, but the state of my condition allows me to stay at home. I do not want to complain when there are people in much more serious situations, or those who unfortunately lost their lives.”
