PSG formally denies weapons brought to tonight’s Women’s Champions’ League clash with Chelsea
A PSG representative, speaking to Le Parisien, has moved to deny claims by British journalists this evening that a bus carrying members of the Collectif Ultras Paris group was stopped and turned away from attending tonight’s Women’s Champions’ League match with Chelsea because they possessed weapons.
“The police have not shown any evidence of the presence of such weapons (knuckle-dusters). To our knowledge there was no wrongdoing. It is one big misunderstanding… [The Ultras] left by bus to the border, disgusted by what had happened.”
PSG lost the match 2-0 this evening; a touch ask is required for the 2nd leg.
