Yassine Benzia in contract negotiations with Rennes

Having decided not to leave Lyon despite being told to, 20 year old attacker Yassine Benzia is now closer than ever to the OL exit door after agreeing to discuss personal terms with Ligue 1 side Rennes, according toMercato 365.

Lyon and Rennes have agreed a €3m fee for the player, as well as a sell-on percentage and after a phone call with SRFC boss Philippe Montanier, Benzia has agreed to discuss a possible contract with the Brittany outfit.

Sunderland and Bologna have entered into negotiations too for the player, but the Premier League side are not understood to have begun fee discussions with Lyon for Benzia, whereas Bologna have.
