Jennifer Lopez's “Latina” Manicure Has Piercings, Tiny Gems, and Tons of Gold Foil

Jennifer Lopez loves a neutral manicure. Just look to some of her latest manicures for proof; At the end of May, she had the most minimalist short neutral pink tips, and a few days later, she had a coffin-shaped glazed donut manicure. Her latest neutral set is an edgier look for the “Jenny From the Block” singer with gold foils, piercings, and gems.

J.Lo posted three photos, which were close-ups of her face seemingly in the midst of getting her hair and makeup done. The first shows Lopez looking straight into the camera with her middle fingernail between her teeth.

Her go-to nail artist Tom Bachik created this nude manicure using Aprés Gel X Maisie Natural Coffin Tips, which were a pale pink hue. On July 8, Bachik shared a close-up of the nails before they were even cured onto her natural nails. He hand-painted the word “Latina” in a gothic font using Aprés Gel X Gel Couleur in the black shade Midnight Shadow on her index finger. He added gold foil flakes at random to several of the nails. He pierced each middle fingertip with gold rings.

The nails on the ring fingers had clear tips and different designs than the rest. On one nail, Bachik added an image of The Virgin Mary with gold accents, and on the other clear tip, he added a heart with a sword plunging through its center. He finished the manicure with several 3D decals, including a cross, gold stars, and tiny silver gems.

Bachik usually knocks it out of the park with Lopez's manicures, but these metallic coffin tips might be my favorite look from Lopez. The piercings, tiny gems, and gold flakes make this a winning manicure in my book.
