Jose Mourinho appointment: Six times new Tottenham boss riled up Arsenal and their fans

Despite being a divisive figure among football fans, the Portuguese tactician is box office and the English top flight doesn’t feel right without him.

The Argentine was a victim of his own success, being axed as manager just six months after guiding the club to the Champions League final, with the club 14th in the Premier League.

And now Mourinho will now play a starring role in one English football’s biggest rivalries between Tottenham and Arsenal.

The former Chelsea and Manchester United boss has repeatedly taken aim at the Gunners over the years, firing shots at the north London club’s lack of Premier League success, Wenger and their fans.
