After Sabarimala Verdict, Forum Of Muslim Women Move Court To Gain Entry In Sunni Mosques

Just days after Supreme Court allowed women of all ages to enter the Sabarimala temple in Kerala, a forum of Muslim women has decided to approach the SC to seek entry in Sunni mosques.

The forum of progressive women, ‘NISA’, will approach the apex court in this regard.

“In Sunni mosques, women are not at all allowed to enter for prayers. In the present scenario when the apex court has granted permission for Hindu ladies to enter the Sabarimala shrine, why Muslim women have been barred from the entry. For this, we have decided to appeal to the apex court. I have spoken to the advocates regarding this”, says a Times Now report.
