Yoann Gourcuff out until 2016

According to Rennes President Rene Ruello, speaking to L’Équipe, the club’s latest signing Yoann Gourcuff is not expected to play until 2016.

“A Belgian doctor told us that he needed eight months to recover… I don’t think we will see him playing until next year.”

Gourcuff has suffered a sesamoid fracture, which his camp claims occurred during his time at Lyon.
