Tottenham submit application to Haringey Council to increase stadium capacity, with further plans in the pipeline to extend
The Premier League side, who officially opened their £1billion ground against Crystal Palace back in April, currently holds 62,062 spectators.
Spurs are hopeful of expanding the capacity by close to 300, which would see the extra seats offered as season tickets – should the application be successful.
Extensive work continues to be undertaken with the club’s architects who are identifying areas within the stadium where additional seating could potentially be installed – with Tottenham confirming a further application to expand will be made in due course.
The north London side are now inviting fans to register their interest for a new Season Ticket, the cost of which will be calculated on a pro-rata basis based on the remaining 2019/20 home Premier League matches it is applicable for.
