PROGRESS Wrestling Announce NOLA Show Names, Reveal Matches & Mick Foley Wishes Company Good Luck

With just over a week to go until the first show, PROGRESS Wrestling has begun making announcements in regards to its WWE WrestleMania 34 weekend shows in New Orleans.

PROGRESS has officially revealed the names of both shows, which have a hilarious play on words in regards to New Orleans.

The 6 April show will be called- Mardi Graps

Many top names in the wrestling world have been confirmed for the shows including Travis Banks, Toni Storm, and Walter. Several of the top WWE UK wrestlers will be making exclusive independent appearances on the 6 April show, whilst Zack Sabre Jr will be performing on the 7th.

PROGRESS has also begun revealing matches for the shows, with several incredible bouts already now confirmed, which you can see below.

April 6 Show:

-PROGRESS Championship Match: Travis Banks (c) vs Shane Strickland
-Ringkampf (Walter & Timothy Thatcher) vs Sexy Starr (Jack Sexsmith & David Starr)
-Pete Dunne vs Flash Morgan Webster vs Mark Andrews
-Toni Storm & Shazza McKenzie vs Jinny & Mercedes Martinez

April 7 Show

-PROGRESS Championship #1 contenders match: WALTER vs Zack Sabre Jr.

Both shows begin at noon and are scheduled to end around 3:00 PM and tickets are still available from $25, which you can buy here.

WWE Hall Of Famer, Mick Foley, has wished PROGRESS Wrestling good luck for its NOLA shows on Twitter today, stating it was five years ago he was first told about the company.
