Official | Franck Haise extends Lens contract and earns promotion to General Manager
Lens have this afternoon announced that coach Franck Haise has extended his contract to 2027, as well as earning a promotion to the title of General Manager. His previous deal was running until the end of the 2024/25 season.
The former midfielder took over the Artois club’s senior side in 2020, midway through a Ligue 2 campaign, and has since overseen a meteoric rise as the club earned promotion and established themselves as regular contenders for the European spots.

Haise was recently linked to the then-vacant Brighton job, before the Premier League side instead went for former Shakhtar Donetsk and Sassuolo coach Roberto De Zerbi.
The Sang et Or currently sit in fourth place after another strong start to the campaign, but have seen an internal shake-up as sporting director Florent Ghisolfi left for Nice. The backroom reshuffle has also seen former head scout Grégory Thil become the new Technical Director.
