No Fuchs Given: The throw-in, and reaction, that has everyone talking this morning
ARSENAL BEAT LEICESTER 1-0 last night to keep their faint top four hopes alive — but that’s not really what anyone is talking about this morning.
Deep into stoppage time, Christian Fuchs went to take a throw in the hope of sparking one last chance and the hope of a Leicester equaliser.
But when Alexis Sanchez planted himself in front of Fuchs in an attempt to block the throw, the frustrated Austrian decided to launch the ball straight at his opponent instead.
I think we can all agree, that’s pretty funny.
Even more hilariously, when the ball ricocheted off Sanchez’s shoulder, he crumpled to the ground holding his face in the type of Oscar-worthy scenes not seen since Rivaldo at the 2002 World Cup.

When everything settled down, Sanchez was rightly booked for simulation. He wasn’t finished yet though.
“Happy for the victory,” he tweeted afterwards with a picture from the dressing room, “but ended up with a swollen lip.”
