Taking up his first senior coaching role of any kind, Le Bris has signed a contract which keeps him at the Breton club until 2025. Before now, the 46-year-old coached the lower age groups at Rennes between 2005 and 2012, in which time he won the National 18-year-old title and the coveted Gambardella Cup, before joining Lorient where he has spent most of his decade at the club leading the reserve side.
“I would like to share with you my pride and my immense happiness to be appointed coach of the FC Lorient first team today. I would like to thank the leaders of Lorient for the trust they place in me,” he said to the club’s website.
