Crystal Palace and Strasbourg competing to sign Montpellier’s Junior Sambia

As reported by Le10Sport, Montpellier midfielder-turned-right-back Junior Sambia is seeing interest from England and France ahead of the summer transfer window.

Marseille was a potential destination last summer for Sambia but OM have cooled their interest in the 25-year-old Frenchman for now. Strasbourg, however, have entered the race and are pushing to sign the player who will leave Montpellier on a free at the end of the season as his contract expires.

Ligue 1 clubs, however, face competition from Patrick Vieria’s Crystal Palace who are also showing an interest in the player who was outstanding for MHSC last season but his form has tailed off recently.
