Lyon President Aulas accuses St Étienne fans of inciting violence

“I viewed it as an infamy. When we see these scary images, with seriously injured people, you think that football should be a celebration. The ASSE fans had no business being in Lyon because there was a law enforcement order banning them from being there at that time. It is a provocation. Now, it is also necessary that the ultras question themselves. What they did does not honour football. And as a club representative, we are fearful of such attacks.”
