Police use tear gas on English fans in Marseille
According to La Provence, French police have this evening used tear gas against groups of English fans who clashed with locals near the Quai de Rive Neuve in Marseille.
This video shows minor scuffles between groups, which was taken as police attempted to disperse about 200 English fans who had amassed outside the Irish Pub in a drunken and disorderly manner captured by the local media outlet.
Tear gas was thrown in the direction of the English fans to force them to disperse. After several tense minutes, the situation calmed down, even if certain Marseille locals looked like they wanted to continue to do battle.
