Exclusive: Tottenham – Fulham negotiations are at breaking point for Moussa Dembélé
According to sources contacted by Get French Football News, talks between Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur and Championship outfit Fulham for the transfer of French striker Moussa Dembélé are at breaking point.
Talks had been progressing well between the two parties over a transfer for this month, but Fulham are refusing to allow any deal to go through unless the player is loaned back to the Championship side until the end of the season.
Fulham are currently under a transfer embargo and are only able to make loan signings this month.
Tottenham Hotspur want to sign the player immediately and not loan him back so that he can act as cover for Harry Kane.
At the moment, negotiations are stuck over this central point. With just 3 days remaining in this January transfer window, this one will either go down to the wire or Tottenham will move on to other targets.

Moussa Dembélé’s contract expires at the end of the season and perhaps Fulham are simply waiting for Tottenham to make a bigger offer than what is currently on the table.
