John Stones is finished at Man City and should join Real Madrid says Jamie O’Hara, who claims defender is ‘too good for Arsenal’
And the England defender should be trying to join a club like Real Madrid, rather than staying in England and stepping down to a side such as Arsenal.
O’Hara made the incredible claim while co-hosting Thursday’s Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast, during a discussion of Stones’ actions during Man City’s Champions League defeat of Atalanta which angered Pep Guardiola.
Guardiola was caught on camera shouting at his player, and also slamming a seat, as Stones took too long to get ready to be introduced from the bench as a replacement for the injured Rodri.
And this incident spells the end of Stones’ City career, according to O’Hara.
“I think he is finished there,” the former Spurs player began. “I think he is done.
“There were two midfielders playing at centre-half ahead of him! For me, I think he is done.”
But what about Stones’ future, should Man City make the decision to sell the England international?
“I look at him and would say why wouldn’t he go to Real Madrid,” O’Hara continued. “They’ve got Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane; Ramos is coming to the end and they are struggling defensively.
