Marcus Rashford: Stunning stat about Manchester United striker shows how good he is compared to Raheem Sterling and Mohamed Salah
The Manchester United, still only 21, notched his 50th goal for the Red Devils in the 3-1 win at Norwich on Sunday.
That was Rashford’s 183rd appearance for the club, having stormed onto the scene back in 2016 with a brace against Arsenal on his Premier League debut.
The England forward, who has also contributed 28 assists during that period, has even reached the milestone five games quicker than former Red Devils star Cristiano Ronaldo.
And while Rashford still has his critics, the Wythenshawe-born frontman has the same number of Premier League goals and assists combined as Raheem Sterling and Mohamed Salah this season – both of whom have earned rave reviews for their performances.
Rashford and Salah have both scored five goals and recorded three assists in England’s top flight, while Sterling has seven goals and one assist to his name.
Rashford has also got better records than Sadio Mane, Harry Kane and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
