Euro 2020 qualification: What does each country need to reach tournament? Who has already qualified?

Six countries have already booked a place at next summer’s showpiece tournament and several others, including England, are on the brink.

But there are some groups still wide open and will need deciding in key games around Europe this week.

*Please note elimination and contention refers only to the group stage; teams may still be able to qualify via the Euro 2020 play-offs

Euro 2020 qualifying standings

Group A

England need one point from their last two games to book their place at the tournament.

It will then be a straight head-to-head between the Czech Republic and Kosovo for the second automatic slot. The two face each other this week in a big game for both.

Group B

Ukraine are already through and now Portugal and Serbia will battle it out for the second qualification place.

Portugal, who won the European Championships in 2016, have the more favourable games this week and they could be key.
