Jadon Sancho reveals Chelsea legends Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba were his childhood icons to fuel speculation of Stamford Bridge move

The Borussia Dortmund winger is attracting interest from some of Europe’s top clubs for his stellar displays in the Bundesliga.

And the Blues may now have the upper hand in negotiations after the teenager revealed the Stamford Bridge icons were two of his favourite stars growing up.

The 19-year old also he admitted he always used to admire the flair and skill of Brazil legend Ronaldinho.

The England ace told The Independent: “Ronaldinho was the main guy I used to watch on YouTube.

“But I liked Frank Lampard quite a lot and Didier Drogba when they were playing for Chelsea.

“They were the three players I looked up to.”

Sancho has had a superb start to the season, netting three goals and five assists in eight matches, but he was hooked by Dortmund boss Lucien Favre after just 36 minutes their 4-0 defeat to Bayern Munich at the weekend.
