Moise Kean hits back at dad’s claims that moving to Everton was a mistake
The 19-year-old has failed to score in his first 11 games for the Toffees since joining in an initial £27million deal from Juventus in the summer.
And he was not included in Everton’s matchday squad to face Southampton last weekend due to breaking disciplinary measures.
Kean’s dad, Biorou Jean, ‘hopes’ the striker returns to Italy ‘as soon as possible’.
He told Centro Suono Sport: “Sending my son to England was a mistake, because he’s still too young, he’s not feeling good at Everton, I didn’t like this transfer.
“I hope he can come back to Italy as soon as possible, I hope he goes to Rome, but the important thing is that he comes back here.”
On Sunday, Kean appeared to respond to his dad’s comments in a post uploaded to his Instagram Story.
It read: “Don’t talk about my life when yours is not an example.
“I don’t fear the hard times when the best comes [after] them. Thanks.”
