Man Shot Dead In West Bengal For Selling Biryani At Rs 190 A Plate

Arguments at a restaurant are seen quite frequently everywhere, mostly about the price of a dish, or quality of food. However, it rarely happens that the argument settles only when someone dies by the end of it.

Something similar happened to the owner of an eatery in West Bengal who was shot dead on Sunday evening. The man’s crime was that he demanded Rs 190 for a plate of biryani from four customers. After he asked for money, a fight erupted and one of the customers shot the eatery owner, according to the police. Sanjay Mondal was declared dead in hospital. The incident took place in the 24 Parganas district.
