Why Arsenal’s 2019/20 campaign has been their worst for 26 seasons – can Mikel Arteta turn things around?
Nothing seems to be going right for them as they find themselves in TENTH position at almost the halfway point of the season.
They’ve managed just five top flight wins out of 17 and they don’t even have a full-time manager to try and get them out of their plight.
Former player Freddie Ljungberg is currently in charge of the club after they sacked Unai Emery in November.
However, they appear to be closing in on Manchester City assistant Mikel Arteta to take over as permanent boss.
Arteta, who used to play for Arsenal was at Everton before that, which is incidentally where the Gunners play their next Premier League match.
