Manchester United midfielder Scott McTominay suffers knee injury in win over Newcastle and leaves Old Trafford on crutches
The midfielder was replaced at half-time in the 4-1 win against Newcastle, having taken the hit earlier in the game in a challenge on Matt Longstaff.
He was replaced by Paul Pogba at half-time and was later seen leaving Old Trafford on crutches and is a major doubt for Saturday’s trip to Burnley.
“He’s done his ligament in his knee, probably. We don’t know how bad it is, so let’s see,” Solskjaer said afterwards.
“The boy has got the biggest heart of the lot. He played until half-time but we know when they stiffen up after. We’ll have to find out tomorrow, how he is.
