As the clock strikes midnight on January 1, clubs will have the freedom to sign any players they feel they need ahead of the second half of the season.

Very large amounts of money will be spent next month but some players’ market values are on the way down and Transfermarkt.co.uk has published the players who have suffered the biggest drop in the year 2019.
