Chelsea and Man City keen on Ben Chilwell transfer and Pep Guardiola could hold the key to a deal

The left-back is now one of the best in the Premier League after just two-and-a-half seasons as a starter for the Foxes, impressing with his marauding displays.

At 23, Chilwell is now a regular for Gareth Southgate’s England side too and looks likely to nab a starting spot at Euro 2020 this summer.

Right now, though, he’s set to be involved in a transfer tug of war between the Blues and the Citizens with both clubs identifying his position as their weakest.

Man City’s quest for full-back perfection has so far failed with injuries and errors making Benjamin Mendy look like a dud, while summer re-sigining Angelino doesn’t look cut out for the elite level City are at.

Meanwhile, Chelsea have Marcos Alonso and Emerson but are keen on adding another talented Englishman to their ranks as Frank Lampard builds a side of homegrown heroes.
