West Ham score three goals in first half for first time since March 2018 as they dismantle Bournemouth at home

Moyes was re-appointed Hammers boss on Sunday following the sacking of Manuel Pellegrini.

It did not take them long to look like a completely different side under their new manager as they were 3-0 up in the first half against Bournemouth at the London Stadium.

Mark Noble fired West Ham in front midway through the first half with a deflected effort from just outside the 18-yard box after Felipe Anderson and Snodgrass linked up well down the right.

Sebastien Haller doubled the Hammers’ score after 25 minutes as he volleyed Ryan Fredericks’ cross home with a cool scissor-kick finish from the centre of the box.

West Ham were awarded a penalty after 33 minutes when Noble was brought down by Harry Wilson in the box.

The Hammers’ captain slotted the resulting spot-kick into the bottom-right corner as Bournemouth goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale was sent the wrong way.
