Fallon Sherrock to play in darts event alongside legendary Italian striker Luca Toni after BDO tournament snub

Sherrock decided to walk away from the BDO Women’s World Championship, which starts on January 4, after organisers slashed the prize fund.

The winner of the women’s competition will receive just £8,000, down from £20,000, due to poor ticket sales.

The 25-year-old made a name for herself when she became the first woman to win a match at the PDC World Darts Championship on her way to the third round.

Instead, Sherrock will play in a tournament where professionals and celebrities will face each other, according to German broadcaster ProSieben.
