The Whites are currently top of the Championship, nine points clear of third place, as they bid to end their 16-year exodus from the top-flight.

But painful memories of last season will still linger in the minds of those at Elland Road.

Marcelo Bielsa’s men appeared to be cruising towards automatic promotion before a dramatic collapse at the end of the season saw them slip into the play-offs.

Leeds failed to win any of their last five matches and then crashed out of the play-offs to Derby, who they led 2-0 on aggregate at one point in the second leg.

Ominously, they have started to wobble in recent weeks, taking just one victory from their last four Championship matches.

Besides, third-place Brentford are showing the sort of form which could see them close the gap, just like Sheffield United did last season.

Will Leeds finally get promoted, or do they risk an eleventh consecutive season in the second tier? We consulted our famous Super Computer to find out how the table will look come May.
