Future Smackdown Stars Spotted in St. Louis for Money in the Bank

As mentioned earlier in the week, it is believed that former ROH and TNA stars Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis have signed with WWE, and they will both be appearing on television this week. The husband and wife duo have bypassed the NXT developmental system, and will be working on the Smackdown roster going forward. Fans have been speculating when and where the two of them will debut when it is time for them to do so. With the Money in the Bank pay-per-view taking place this evening, it appears that we may finally know the answer.
PWInsider and the Wrestling Observer have reported that Kanellis and her husband are in St. Louis for the show tonight, which is where the pay-per-view will be taking place later tonight. It is entirely possible that they could be showing up tonight during the Money in the Bank show, however, it is also possible that they could just be arriving backstage and will not be used on television until Smackdown later this Tuesday. Either way, the two are definitely in town and will be working with WWE in just a matter of time. To add to the speculation, a fan on Twitter recently uploaded a snapshot of the Bennetts waiting for their bags in the airport alongside fellow Smackdown star Epico.

Mike Bennett first made a name for himself in Ring of Honor where he won the inaugural Top Prospects tournament. He eventually met his future wife Maria Kanellis and the two have gone to to achieve great success in the industry. They worked together in both ROH and TNA Wrestling, but they decided to leave the latter promotion earlier this year. Bennett will be making his debut if he shows up at the pay-per-view tonight, but Maria will be making her return to the company after being released back in 2010. Tune in to Smackdown this week or Money in the Bank tonight, because the two are definitely going to be making their debut this week.
