State champion Jurries to Minnesota State University, Mankato

State champion Eliot Jurries of Jackson County Central has committed to wrestling for Minnesota State University, Mankato next season.

Jurries is a two-time state place winner. He won the Class A 132 pound state championship this year as a senior. He also placed fifth as a junior at 126 pounds.

Jurries is projected to wrestle at 133 or 141 pounds in college.
