The Rock Shares Video Of Eulogy Speech From His Father's Funeral

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has released a video of his full eulogy speech from his father and WWE Hall of Famer Rocky Johnson’s funeral. The Great One’s touching tribute began with him saying he wish he had one more chance to say goodbye, but knows that his dad is watching and listening from above.

I wish I had one more shot just to say goodbye, to say I love you, to say thank you, to say I respect you but I have a feeling he’s watching, he’s listening.

Rocky later reveals the moment he found out about the passing while in production, and recalls advice he once received from his dad about moving on.

In that moment, I just thought, ‘What do I need to do? What’s the next thing that I need to do?’ And I heard a voice say ‘Well, hey the show must go on,’ and that was my dad that was my old man who told me that.

Rocky Johnson died last month from a condition called deep vein thrombosis. He was 75. The Rock also released this statement along with the video.

Dad, you lived a full and meaningful life •
