Ric Flair Says Randy Orton Is Expected To Miss WrestleMania 32 This Year

Two-time WWE Hall Of Famer Ric Flair continued his recent trend of breaking WWE news on his weekly podcast, as he provided an update regarding the return status of longtime top WWE Superstar Randy Orton during his latest “WOOOOO Nation with Ric Flair” podcast.

As noted, “The Viper” was looking at potentially needing two undergo two significant surgical operations to repair a bad shoulder/neck injury he had been dealing with for a while.

While it appears that following the major shoulder operation he underwent on December 8th, the third-generation WWE Superstar won’t need the follow-up neck surgery that would have kept him on the sidelines a considerable amount longer, it looks like he will have to wait for 2017 to perform on “The Grandest Stage Of Them All.”

“The Nature Boy” spoke about Orton’s status for WrestleMania 32 during the aforementioned “WOOOOO! Nation” podcast earlier this week. The legendary pro wrestling star offered the following update on his former Evolution teammate.

“I’m told it won’t be ready. Randy’s shoulder surgery was a lot more serious than people understand. He even had it done by a different surgeon this time because he wanted to make sure that… If it pops out just pounding the mat…just imagine what would happen if he took a German from Brock (Lesnar).”
