Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks Set for WWE Raw with First Draft Pick on the Line

WWE has announced that Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch will take on “The Boss” Sasha Banks in a non-title match this coming week on Monday Night Raw.

Lynch was drafted to the red brand as the first overall pick this past Friday night, while Lynch was drafted to Smackdown as the seventh overall pick. The draft continues on Monday night, with the winner of the bout earning the first pick of the evening for their respective brand.

This is an interesting announcement in that there have been several reports indicating that Banks suffered a tailbone injury in her Hell in a Cell match against Lynch last Sunday night, but it would appear – unless plans change – that the injury was not as serious as believed.

Both Universal Champion Seth Rollins, who is engaged to Lynch, and WWE Champion Brock Lesnar are eligible to be drafted on Monday night, and should obviously be the number one and number two picks, but where each champion goes will likely depend on how that women’s match plays out. In a fun twist, Lynch is essentially fighting for the USA Network to determine the fate of her fiance.
