Former WWE Star Joey Mercury Arrested Over “ALL IN” Weekend

According to PWInsider.com, former WWE star and current ROH producer Joey Mercury, real name Adam Carlson Birch, was arrested this past Saturday morning in Schaumburg, IL, as he was in town to help produce the “ALL IN” event on Saturday night.

Police found Birch sleeping in his car outside of The Marriott Hotel in Schaumburg at 6:58am on Saturday morning, and when they ran his name they discovered he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest in Orange County, FL.

Birch is currently being held on $2,500 bail at the Cook County Department of Corrections in Illinois, and has a court date set on September 4th. It’s possible that Birch might be extradited back to Florida where he has the outstanding warrant, but more will be known after the hearing.

As of this writing, it remains unknown why Birch is wanted in Orange County, FL, but we will update this developing story as more information becomes available.

With regards to “ALL IN”, Birch of course missed the event due to his arrest, and he had been scheduled to help put together the pre-show battle royal and work the gorilla position. Birch had also been involved in the planning of “ALL IN” for the past several months.
