Last night’s NXT averaged 654,000 viewers on the USA Network, down 12.9 percent from last week. That ties the lowest viewership that NXT has done on USA Network since June.

The episode was the go-home show for Sunday’s NXT TakeOver 36.

NXT finished 31st on cable with a 0.15 rating in the 18-49 demo, down 21.1 percent from last week. That’s the lowest mark for NXT in 18-49 since June 29. The actual viewership in the demo was 200,000, down from the 244,000 viewers that last week’s episode averaged. NXT ranked 13th in 18-49 last week with a 0.19 rating.

Year-over-year, NXT was down 23.3 percent in overall viewers and down 37.5 percent in the 18-49 demo. Unlike most recent weeks, this is more of an apples-to-apples comparison as NXT had Wednesdays to itself for much of August 2020, with AEW Dynamite being bounced around due to the NBA playoffs.

As compared to the 10-week average prior to this week, NXT was up 0.2 percent in overall viewers. In the 18-49 demo, the show was down 11.8 percent from the 10-week average.
