Kenny Omega, Bryan Danielson promos added to AEW Rampage

The build to one of the most anticipated matches in years begins in earnest on Friday’s AEW Rampage as both World Champion Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson will speak about their upcoming clash.

On Wednesday’s Dynamite, Danielson challenged Omega to a non-title match that Omega eventually accepted. Later in the show, it was announced as happening on this Wednesday’s Dynamite Grand Slam event from Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York.

This will be only the second time they have ever wrestled a singles match with the first time being at a 2009 PWG show. 

Also announced for Friday: a face-to-face segment with Women’s Champion Britt Baker and no. 1 contender Ruby Soho ahead of their match Wednesday at Grand Slam.
