Manchester United transfer target Kai Havertz open to moving to England as Bayer Leverkusen wonderkid continues to star in Bundesliga

The Bayer Leverkusen midfielder is one of the brightest young stars in the Bundesliga.

The 20-year-old scored 20 goals in all competitions last season and this inevitably led to transfer speculation linking him with some of the top clubs around Europe, including the Red Devils.

He is thought to be high on Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s wanted list, and when asked if he would consider moving to Spain or England, Havertz told Marca: “I think I’ve picked up enough international experience at Leverkusen.

“I know the rhythm of these international matches and I’m confident that I can go abroad at any moment and play at clubs outside of Germany.

“For the moment, I want to have a good season. Afterwards, we’ll see.”

One club who have also shown a solid interest in his services is Barcelona and the youngster admitted that potential move would be a good fit for him.
