‘Good She Was Killed’: Kochi Banker Fired From Job For Insensitive Remark On Kathua Gangrape Case

At the time when the country is reeling under horrific rapes and murders, a private banker was fired from his job for making extremely impervious and derogatory comments about the eight-year-old girl gangraped and killed in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir.

Vishnu Nandakumar, Assistant Manager at Kochi branch of Kotak Mahindra Bank, was fired from his job for posting hate speech on social media.

Vishnu, referring to the 8-year-old girl had said on Facebook that it was “good that she was killed at this age itself. Else, she would have grown up and returned throwing bombs in India”.
