WWE Adds Roman Reigns vs. Erick Rowan To SmackDown 20th Anniversary Special On FOX


We can add another big match to the special 20th Anniversary episode of WWE SmackDown, which kicks off the new weekly time slot on FOX with the inaugural episode of WWE Friday Night SmackDown On FOX on October 4th.

WWE.com released the following announcement on Friday confirming Roman Reigns vs. Erick Rowan in one-on-one action for the big show:

Roman Reigns to battle Erick Rowan when SmackDown premieres on Fox

In the wake of the announcement that Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns will battle Erick Rowan & Luke Harper at WWE Hell in a Cell, Sports Illustrated reported via Twitter that The Big Dog will go one-on-one with Rowan when Friday Night SmackDown debuts on Fox next Friday at 8/7 C.

Erick Rowan & Luke Harper have caused mass destruction on the blue brand since reuniting. But who will prevail when Reigns once again squares off against the Superstar responsible for his backstage attack tow months ago? And what role will Harper & Bryan ultimately play in the mix?

Don’t miss the premiere of Friday Night SmackDown on Fox next Friday at 8/7 C.
