Jazz Forced To Vacate NWA Women’s Title After 900+ Days As Champion
The National Wrestling Alliance has announced some major breaking news ahead of this weekend’s highly anticipated Crockett Cup event in North Carolina.
The “Fighting Phenom” Jazz, a 21-year veteran of the business and a two-time WWE Women’s Champion, has been forced to vacate the NWA World Women’s Championship she has held for the last 948 days.
Details are scarce at this point. It’s unknown if Jazz suffered some kind of injury or if a last-minute scheduling conflict came up, but we’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available.
Jazz’s last title defense was a Two Out of Three Falls Match against Alexia Nicole on March 24th. She was scheduled to defend her title at this weekend’s Crockett Cup tournament. Instead, former Impact Wrestling Knockout Allysin Kay (aka Sienna) will take on an unnamed opponent to determine a new champion.
